A (Announcer) Excuse me, sir. You have a name tag on as a dealer. Do you have a minute to be interviewed for our radio audience?

L (Lawyer) Yes. Of course. It would be my pleasure.

A Your name and affiliation?

L I'm Jake T. Money. I'm a lawyer for a large group of manufacturers that is presenting a new stamp hinge for stamp collectors at this event.

A So do you have a sample package on the hinges you represent?

L Yes. Here. You can keep this sample packet.

A Well I can see through the clear window on the front that these hinges look like any other hinges on the market.

L Exactly. But they are substantially different.

A How so?

L Well we use a mucilage that is as close to non toxic as can be manufactured for the protection of the stamp collector. Further, our hinges are environmentally friendly, as well, to a degree.

A Non toxic? Environmentally friendly?

L Yes, non toxic, to a degree. You see, for years hinge makers have been reluctant to put a warning label on a stamp hinge product explaining all the hazards with over use. But we have done just that with this product. Look at the back of your sample packet.

A (Reading from the packet) "Warning. The extended use of more than twenty hinges moistened by human saliva may result in a disagreeable after taste on the tip of the tongue which could cause inflammation and other side effects.

This condition can be neutralized by taking a sip of any carbonated soft drink. Failure to cleanse the tongue after using twenty hinges could result in:

a loss of speech, difficulty in swallowing, blurred vision, impaired hearing, and in extreme cases hair loss. Other side effects which may result from over use of this product may include loss of smell and taste, heightened tactical stimulation awareness of the tongue and gums, and even excessive salivary gland production of spittle.

The manufacturer recommends the use of a cotton swab and distilled water for the application of this product to a stamp and to the album page. Should a user experience other side effects not listed here in, the user should contact a stamp dealer for the hinge mucilage antidote.

Lastly, dispose of hinges properly. Not more than twenty hinges should be put in one garbage run to avoid ground water contamination

L That's about it.

A Well, here. I won't be needing this sample packet. Now back to the station.
