A Announcer  We are again at the Philadelphia EXPO of stamp collecting, interviewing collectors for our radio audience.

Here is a collector I recognize from last year. Sir. Sir. Do you have a minute to share your collecting details with the listening audience?

C Collector Sure

A Are you the collector of German stamps I interviewed last year?

C Yes, I am.

A So I suppose you now have many more stamps in your collection after another year of collecting.

C Yes I do. I now have hundreds.

A Well how did you modify your collecting interests to have so many stamps in your collection?

C Well, I now collect worldwide instead of just Germany. And I gave away all my specialty stamp albums.

A Gave away your albums? So how do you display your collection?

C I use picture frames.

A What?

C Well I was spending too much money on supplements to the albums and way too much on mounts.

A So how do you now mount your stamps in picture frames?

C Glue stick.

A Glue stick?

C Yes. I apply glue stick to the backing paper of a frame and affix stamps individually. When the frame is full of stamps, I install the glass and the job is done. Then I move on to another frame.

A So do you have one frame for each country?

C Oh, no. I just paste stamps in each frame as I get them.

A So where do you store all these frames?

C I don't store them I hang them in my house so I can see them. Most collectors search for a stamp. They then put it in an album. And never look at it again. Not me. I can see all my stamps all the time. I even have  one of the frames with me. Let me show you.

A Wow. That looks like a lot of work.

C Fun. Not work. I call them philatelic collages. I even had a showing at the local library.

A Well thanks for your time. Back to the station.
